Jesse Pollak is the creator of Base. He currently serves as the Head of Protocols at Coinbase, overseeing initiatives related to Ethereum Layer 1, Layer 2, and other on-chain efforts. Prior to this, from early 2017 to mid-2021, Jesse led Coinbase's consumer-facing engineering, contributing to the development of Coinbase, Coinbase Pro, and Coinbase Wallet.
