Fractal is a multi-layer blockchain network designed to enhance the security and functionality of DeFi, asset tokenization, and onchain identity. It leverages zero-knowledge proofs to ensure privacy and security across its ecosystem.
Technology:
Fractal uses a hybrid architecture that combines the strengths of UTXO and EVM models. The network supports parallel processing, making it scalable and efficient. Its UTXO layer, called Fractal Spring, ensures high security and simplicity, while the EVM layer, Fractal Confluence, provides compatibility with Ethereum tools and smart contracts. This dual-layer approach allows Fractal to offer low transaction costs, high throughput, and robust security features powered by zero-knowledge proofs.
Governance:
Fractal's governance is decentralized and driven by its native FRA token. Token holders can participate in network governance by staking their FRA tokens, which allows them to vote on consensus decisions and network upgrades. Validators, who run full nodes and participate in the consensus process, are selected based on the amount of FRA staked. Delegators can also contribute by staking their tokens with validators, earning rewards while supporting network security.
