The Super Contributor Cohort is a six-week co-learning track for Superchain contributors.
The new internet has the potential to radically distribute resources and empower individuals globally. The Optimism Collective, a band of communities, companies, and citizens, is establishing new digital democratic systems to enable and govern this new internet.
To realize this new internet, the brightest builders must unite and coordinate. If you want to participate in the Optimism Collective, the Super Contributor Cohort is for you!
The Super Contributor Cohort is a six-week co-learning track for Superchain contributors. The cohort teaches new and existing Optimism Collective members the insights and skills needed to become an elite Collective contributors.
The first cohort (Cohort 0) consists of the Optimism Contributor Essentials MOOC, Weekly Contributor Meetings, a series of onchain exercises, and a Contributor Meetup in Bangkok.
As this is the first pilot cohort, we can only accept 40 participants. Please complete this form to apply. The Superchain Eco team will review applications on a rolling basis.
Start Program: October 9th, with a cohort kick-off call
End Program: November 21st, with a virtual graduation
The MOOC and Cohort sessions will provide you with relevant context about all the elements of the Optimism Collective, from the OP Stack to the Law of Chains, and equip you with best practices and hands-on experience for contributing to onchain organizations.
By completing the Super Contributor Cohort, you’ve proven to understand the Optimism Collective and its operations well. During the program, you will create a Delegate profile and receive your first OP tokens delegated to you. You’ll also receive special badges in our upcoming Super Account, a certificate of completion, and the ability to earn extra OP tokens.

How much time do I have to commit to the cohort?
Participating in the Cohort should take between 2-4 hours per week.
How much previous experience or knowledge do I need to participate?
There are no hard requirements for acceptance, and we will review each application and motivation separately. However, we recommend having a basic understanding of Web3 and basic tools such as wallets.
Can I graduate if I miss out on some of the calls?
Yes, however, we recommend attending at least 75% of the sessions.
Are there any costs associated with joining the program?
No, the program is entirely free for participants.
Do I have to attend the Meetup in Bangkok to graduate?
No, but it would be great to have you join us in Bangkok!
