⛓️ What's Hot in Superchain?

Build on Bitcoin joins the Superchain

Build on Bitcoin, a hybrid Layer-2 blockchain, has joined the Superchain to expand Bitcoin DeFi. Built on the OP Stack, Build on Bitcoin combines Bitcoin's security with Ethereum's flexibility, addressing Bitcoin’s smart contract limitations and improving user experience. This integration brings Bitcoin staking layers, developer tools, and seamless onboarding to the Superchain ecosystem, positioning BOB as a leading hub for BTC DeFi.

With a growing ecosystem of 40 live projects, BOB offers BTC-backed products, Liquid Staking Tokens, and more. BOB's integration also unlocks benefits for its community, like eligibility for Superchain programs and grants. Read full details here.

Swell L2 Migrating to the Superchain

Swell L2 is migrating to the Superchain, leveraging the OP Stack's modular and open-source codebase to enhance scalability and interoperability. As the Superchain’s restaking hub, Swell L2 will maximize capital efficiency and security through its Proof of Restake mechanism. This transition also includes design updates, such as using ETH as the gas token and dedicating sequencer revenue to the Optimism Collective. With support from the Superchain’s ecosystem, Swell aims to become the central platform for restaking in Ethereum’s next scaling phase. Read the full details on Swell L2 migration here.

Across & Uniswap ERC-7683

ERC-7683, developed by Across Protocol and Uniswap Labs, is an Ethereum token standard designed to enhance cross-chain interoperability by providing a unified framework for specifying cross-chain actions in intents-based systems. Optimism, Mode and Worldcoin are supporting this standard. This integration enables high-speed transfers of assets like ETH and USDC across the Superchain, promoting seamless interoperability among its constituent.

The adoption of ERC-7683 by these projects within the Superchain underscores a collective effort to create a more unified and efficient cross-chain ecosystem, enhancing user experience and fostering innovation across Ethereum. Read more about this here.

Mint Forest 3.0

Mint Forest 3.0 has launched, bringing exciting upgrades to enhance user engagement and rewards. This update introduces a redesigned user interface, on-chain daily check-ins with doubled ME rewards, increased invite and staking box rewards, and more spins for the ME Lucky Spin. Automata Builder Grants

Automata Network has introduced the Automata Builder Grants to support innovation in Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) and remote attestation for secure Web3 applications. The program offers two grants: the Developer Grant, which funds projects that advance TEE integration in blockchain, and the Attestation Grant, which covers attestation costs for Automata’s machine attestation layer.

Grants offer up to 50,000 USDC for the Developer Grant and 10,000 $ATA for the Attestation Grant, alongside marketing resources, ecosystem visibility, and technical support. Applications are open on a rolling basis, encouraging developers to leverage Automata's tools and contribute to a secure, decentralized Web3. For details, visit here
